In October, the studio will be visited by Kelly Sherman.
Kelly Sherman is an artist based in Boston, Massachussetts, USA. Sherman’s work resides in the gray zone between art, design, and information technology. With a background ranging from ceramics and sculpture, to Design Research strategy, her process is engaged in finding new ways to compile, visualize, and understand both complex situations and everyday occurrences. While at NKF’s Malongen residency, she began a project concerning the creative impulse; conducting in depth interviews with students and teachers at nearby Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design. In addition, she presented her process at a conference at the Interactive Institute in Kista.
