Artist collective Ruangrupa has been occupying the Studio in September. They have been working with an installation that will show in Färgfabriken's project room from 28/9 - 2/11.
Ruangrupa was initiated in 2000 and is now run by a group of Jakarta-based artists. The non-profit oragnisationen focuses on developing art within a cultural context, through research, documentation, and collaborations with other artists resulting in exhibitions, residency programs and workshops.
Ruangrupa also runs a video biennial named OK Video - Jakarta International Video Festival since 2003.
