Faculty of Action presents Performance Gossip - this is important!
For Faculty of Action at Färgfabriken we are collaborating with Malongen/the Nordic art association. Under the title Faculty of Action presents Performance Gossip - this is important! we host an open house evening on Monday 15 October at Malongen.
Participating are IntraGalactic arts collective, Osäkerhetsprincipen and PALS! with Malin Ståhl, Anita Wernström, Rúrí, Diana Agunbiade-Kolawole, Anna Kinbom, Lovisa Johansson och Erik Wijkström in a conversation on the conditions for performance within visual arts. In addition we have an open call for 5 minute presentations of thoughts and opinions on performance as an art form.

Welcome to Nordic Guest Studio Malongen, Nytorget 15 A, Stockholm 15 oktober kl 18.

Faculty of Action is a three day live performance exhibition and seminar at Färgfabriken in Stockholm. All artwork will exist live in the space and we welcome the audience to an ongoing programme of performances, workshops and dialogue. Focus is on presence in the space, on the here and now, and to experience temporality and developing processes. Eight performance pieces will be activated and performed during the three days. Participating artists Diana Agunbiade-Kolawole (UK/SWE), Jessie Kleemann (GR), Harold Offeh (UK), Katarina Pirak Sikku (SÁPMI), Florence Peake & Eve Stainton (UK), Rúrí (ICE), Malin Ståhl (SWE), Anita Wernström (SWE).
IntraGalactic arts collective is an artist run initiative associated with Sveriges konstföreningar. The collective started working in 2014 and operates within the visual arts working from satellites in Stockholm, Vingåker and Östersund. IntraGalactic arts collective are interested in art production and works with a focus on dialogue and exchange. We create space for peer-to-peer exchange and give space to dialogue on processes and ‘the unfinished’.
