Ivan Ramljak invited by Filmform for residency at NKF

Event type:
The Nordic Guest Studio
When:
26 Mar 2026

During two weeks in April 2026, Ivan Ramljak — filmmaker and Nordic scout for the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) — is artist in residence at Salongen, the Nordic Art Association's (NKF) residency space in Stockholm.

IFFR is one of Europe's most important film festivals. Despite Filmform having shown work there for twenty years, Swedish presence remains minimal. During the residency, Ivan meets local artists working with moving image, curates a programme of works from the Filmform collection, and presents his own films in conversation with the audience. The aim is to stimulate Swedish artists' presence at international film festivals and put Swedish experimental film and video art on the international map.
